VT Friends provides an opportunity for credible members of the tech ecosystem to co-invest alongside members of VT. Whilst we don’t actively support the group (our focus has to be on the core community) it enables members to invest simply in the best deals alongside us.

VT Friends was conceived because:

• Founders resonate with our aim to fill cap tables with those who can be most genuinely helpful, and VT often has extra allocation that can be offered to great people outside of the core VT membership.
• The VT community has reached capacity (for now), but we still want to involve credible operators and ecosystem friends who were keen to invest in great deals and could make for great VT members in the future.
• The VT process is increasingly demanding of its members and only suits certain operators with a bit more time to get involved. It’s not always immediately obvious who will be a best fit for the community, and VT Friends is an opportunity for prospective members to get a feel for the community without having to make a full commitment, and for us to spot the best, most engaged potential members.
